Naperville law firm, Nyberg& Cassioppi, LLC, is proud to announce the addition of Naperville bankruptcy attorney William Cherny. Mr. Cherny will act “Of Counsel” to the firm and primarily concentrate in the areas of individual and business bankruptcy, bankruptcy litigation, and general civil litigation.
Mr. Cherny was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1997 and the Wisconsin State Bar in 1998. He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, including the Bankruptcy Court. From 2002-2004 Bill was an Assistant Public Defender in the Kane County Public Defender’s Office. He has been in private practice since 2005.
Bill completed his undergraduate education at The Ohio State University (B.S. 1977) and received an MBA from Illinois Benedictine University (1991). He completed his legal education at John Marshall Law School (J.D. 1997). Bill is a member of the DuPage County Bar Association, Kane County Bar Association, and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
