Timoth Sylvia, Neighbor

Rev. Sylvia is an Ordained Pastor in the United Church of Christ whose experience has taken him from Iowa to Maine working with youth, young adults and small, rural congregations. He grew up in Princeton, Illinois and now resides with his partner, Peter, in Rumford. He received his Master of Divinity degree from Bangor Theological Seminary in Bangor, Maine.

Prior to accepting the current call as Senior Pastor at Newman Congregational Church, Pastor Timoth served HOPE United Church of Christ in Naperville, as Campus Minister at the University of Maine and Youth Pastor at Edwards Congregational United Church of Christ in Davenport, Iowa.
