Susan Greenwood, Neighbor

From high school when she won a Betty Crocker contest to crunching chicken feet on a river cruise in China, food and all its tastes and emotions is important to Susan Greenwood.  Whether it's the perfect fried egg sandwich or a savory sea scallop; talking with folks about food in their kitchens or figuring out what to do with that strange vegetable in an international supermarket, Susan loves to experience, talk and write about food.

Following her husband around the country Susan has free-lanced for many newspapers including the <i>Des Moines (IA) Register</i>, the <i>Buffalo Evening News</i> and the <i>Chicago Tribune</i>.  A former newspaper food editor she&#39;s written about a very wide variety of food topics from reviewing 4-star restaurants to the 4H girl who won the county fair contest for the longest apple peel.
