I was born in New Jersey, but have lived in Illinois most of my life. The vast majority of that time has been spent living somewhere between Naperville, Lisle and Aurora. I am the oldest (by many years) of three kids. Although I'm a bit of a homebody, I do like to travel and have enjoyed some great weekend getaways to Milwaukee, long and leisurely trips through the mountains of North Carolina and Virginia and several super-relaxing, extended vacations in Mexico. The destination for my next trip, hopefully, will be somewhere out west. When I'm not writing or promoting, I enjoy spending time with my husband Dave and my son Cameron, cooking, reading for pleasure, reading to my son and dreaming of creating the next great invention!
