Pattie Bolek, Neighbor

I have been married to Mark for 10 years and we have two children. 

Kaitlyn is 7 and Andrew is 3.  Both of my children have special needs. 

Kaitlyn is my "super-special girl" with Childhood Apraxia of Speech and a little Auditory/Visual Processing Disorder.  She receives special education services within District 204 and is thriving, thriving, thriving! 

Andrew has a slight speech delay and articulation problem, but that doesn't slow him down one bit!

I also work part time as a Registered Nurse at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago on an extremely hectic Ortho-Neuro-Spine Unit.  I am a great nurse!

I am an active member of the Indian Prairie Special Needs PTA.

As for hobbies, I love to scrapbook!  I am about 6 months behind with Andrew, but 3 years behind with Kaitlyn.  I believe that there is a self-help program for my scrap-booking addiction out there somewhere!

I am a coffee lover.

I belong to St Rafael’s Parish in Naperville, and I am afraid to fly. 

I grew up in Calumet City (south suburb of Chicago).
