Rabbi Mendy Goldstein, Neighbor

Rabbi Mendy Goldstein was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He left home to spend his high school years in a Yeshivah in Brunoy, France. After studying in New York for another two years, he spent a year of internship in outreach work in Budapest, Hungary.

At the age of 22, Rabbi Goldstein graduated and received his Rabbinical ordination from the Central Lubavitch Yeshiva in Brooklyn. He has also spent summers and holidays serving a number of Jewish communities around the world and across the United States. Rabbi Mendy is known for his warmth, wit and sincere and pleasant demeanor.

Rabbi Mendy met his wife, Alta in California and they got married in May 2004. They are the proud parents of 4 children: Yisroel, Mussya, Eli and Moishy.

Rabbi Mendy & Alta Goldstein moved to Naperville in December 2005 to establish the Chabad Jewish Center which provides social and religious programming for the Jewish community.

Rabbi Goldstein is currently the director and Rabbi at the Chabad Jewish Center of Naperville
