Blood Drive for Troops, Veterans Being Held Saturday

Naperville Responds for our Veterans will be holding a blood donation drive at the Naperville City Hall from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Naperville Responds to Improve the Lives of Disabled Veterans

Naperville Responds for Our Veterans will toast local veterans at “Cheers to Our Veterans Wine Tasting Fundraiser” on November 9.

With Veteran’s Day just around the corner, veteran’s assistance organizations across the country are busy making their final preparations to honor those who have served our country. Closer to home, Naperville Responds for Our Veterans (NRFV) is no exception, with organizers of the “Cheers to Our Veterans Wine Tasting Fundraiser” putting the finishing touches on an event that will benefit an organization with a unique approach to helping veterans and their families. “We want to provide homes, mortgage free, for disabled veterans and their families,” said Pat Bowler, chairman of the nonprofit. “In addition, we will not only pay the taxes for one year, but we will also make sure that the house is affordable for them and that they will be able…
