Naperville Animal Hospital Participates in Free Spay and Neutering Program for Pit Bulls

Pit bull owners can get vouchers for the free surgery, which is expected to reduce overpopulation of the breed as well as the number of pit bulls that end up in shelters, according to the Humane Society.

"We want to assist responsible pet owners in our community," said Jennifer Vlazny, HHS operations manager. "Spaying and neutering are paramount to helping resolve the pit bull overpopulation crisis and reducing the number of pit bulls we see in animal shelters in the future." HHS is currently offering vouchers to pit bull owners to have their pets spayed or neutered for free…
