Former Naperville North Counselor Sentenced for Sexual Abuse of Student

A former Naperville North High School guidance counselor was formally sentenced Tuesday to 30 days of jail work release and 30 months of probation after pleading guilty last month to having a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old student, the Daily Herald reports. I live down the street and see all kinds of neighbor children in and out of their house and playing in their yard when I drive by. Now that he's a registered sex offender, is he allowed to have neighborhood children in his yard or home ? Even if other adults are present in the home ? I sure hope not. I will call the police every time I see a child over there. We'll see how well the police protect…   more ›
