Gas prices may still be more than $4 per gallon, but prices at the pump continue to drop in Naperville. AAA is reporting the average price for a gallon of regular gasoline is $4.179 in Naperville. According to AAA, the average price for a gallon of regular gasoline has dropped almost seven cents in the past week. At the current average price, a 15-gallon tank will cost about $62.69 to fill up. But relief at the pump may not last. PBS reports that oil surpassed $100 per barrel Thursday. The move was in reaction to the organization of petroleum-exporting countries, known as OPEC, failing to agree to increase production. There has been some relief at the pump this week for vehicle owners in Naperville. According to AAA, the average price for a gallon of regular gasoline in town is $4.215. Since Sunday night, the average price of a gallon of regular gasoline has drop in price by 4-cents. At the current average price, a 15-gallon tank will cost about $63.26 to fill up. While Illinois maintains the second highest fuel price in the nation, there is hope prices may continue to come down. Crude oil prices dropped, and stayed, below $100 per barrel on Tuesday. Fuel prices have risen in Naperville during the past week. According to AAA, the average price for a gallon of regular gasoline in Naperville is $4.258. Last week, the same gallon was going for an average of $4.111 in the area. At the current average price, a 15-gallon take will cost about $63.87 to fill up. Overall, AAA reports Illinois has the second highest fuel price in the nation, at an average of $4.147 per gallon of regular gasoline. According to a report from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the Great Lakes region has not experience a drop in fuel prices like other areas of the country. Lawsuit: Sam's Club Cart Hauler Peril Sent Elderly Woman to Ground

An 80-year-old woman is still suffering from injuries incurred in 2008, according to her attorney.

Any big-box store shopper probably has seen electronic "cart haulers" patrolling parking lots with store employees to collect shopping carts. One day in 2008, Alyce Buzduhanov apparently didn't see one of the haulers until she was lying on the ground outside the Sam's Club on Route 59. In a recently filed lawsuit, Buzduhanov, 80, of Plainfield, claims an employee knocked her out of the way to avoid being struck by a hauler operated by another employee who didn't see the woman in his path. "(Buzduhanov) was pushed to the ground and out of the way of the robotic shopping cart hauler and carts by an employee ... ," the suit filed in DuPage County alleges.
