The next hearing for a former high school counselor charged with sex abuse is set for March 9.
The judge overseeing a sex abuse case involving a former Naperville School District 203 counselor is looking over school district records to determine whether the documents are relevant to the case, as the man’s defense attorney has suggested. John Carbonaro's attorney subpoenaed records for two District 203 students, one of whom is said by prosecutors to have been sexually abused by the former Naperville North High School counselor. In January, Judge Blanche Fawell directed that Naperville School District 203 release the records of the students.
