Dancing For Dollars
The Community Career Center held its 14th annual fundraiser Wednesday by hosting Dancing With Naperville's Celebrities. The organization called on local favorites to perform rehearsed routines to a sold-out crowd.
It's likely the only place to see the Naperville fire chief do the hustle, a city councilman shake it while dancing the salsa and an Illinois State Representative twist about to perform the tango. Wednesday marked the 14th Annual Fundraiser for the Community Career Center and this year, it came in the form of a Dancing With Naperville's Celebrities event. "This is our first time doing it but it's been such a success already," said Kim White, associate director of the Community Career Center. "We are hoping to raise about $30,000."
