Naperville North's Colin Goebel Signs With Iowa Hawkeyes

Naperville North High School senior Colin Goebel signed a letter-of-intent with the University of Iowa Hawkeyes football team Wednesday during National Signing Day in Austin, Texas.

After committing to University of Iowa last April, 6-foot-5, 280-pound Colin Goebel signed a letter-of-intent with the Hawkeyes football team Wednesday during National Signing Day in Austin, Texas, Hawkeyesports.com reports. Goebel, a Naperville North senior and Lisle resident, played for four years as an offensive guard for the Huskies, who finished the 2012-13 season with a 5-5 record. He signed on Wednesday to play as a Hawkeye offensive lineman for the 2013-14 season.
