Gas Guide: Prices Around Naperville

Driving is imperative. Saving a dime is a necessity. As gas prices continue to stay in the $4 range, we here at Patch want to help our readers find the best deal around. In just the last few days, prices have decreased again, which is helpful as we head into the three-day weekend. According to AAA Fuel Finder, the cost to fill a 15-gallon tanks is: $62.13. Just in time for the workweek, gas prices have continued their drop. Prices have decreased steadily for the last few weeks, but are hovering near $4. We know that you are interested in being as cost-effective as possible, so we will provide you with area prices on a regular basis. According to AAA Fuel Price Finder, the average area price is $4.17 and last week the average was $4.31. Drivers with a 15-gallon tank to fill will pay an average cost of $62.60. The bad thing about filling the vehicle up with gasoline is that you usually can’t put if off. You need it when you need it. With prices dropping, you might wish you’d only waited one more day because you could have saved some cash. Then, again, you wait too long and you might end up broken down on the side of the road. Gas prices continue to drop around Naperville, although gasoline is still above $4. Just in the last two days the cost to fuel a 15-gallon vehicle has dropped, according to the AAA Fuel Price Finder.  The average cost is $63.48 compared with $65.46 last week. We can only hope that prices continue to drop over the course of the next week as we head into Memorial Day weekend. For now, where are the lowest prices in Naperville…
