Community Gathers In Solidarity To Show Support Against Hunger
Loaves & Fishes Hosts Day Without Hunger
The Naperville and DuPage County community came together Saturday afternoon for Loaves & Fishes 4th Annual Day Without Hunger. Speakers were on hand to share their experiences in working with Loaves & Fishes to end hunger in their communities. The day's activities started with an opening invocation from Rev. Mark Jendrysik, pastor of St. Raphael Catholic Church in Naperville. Mayor Pradel addressed the crowd thanking them and the community of Naperville for their good fellowship towards others in need. Loaves & Fishes executive director Charles P. McLimans, took a few moments to talk about the hunger issue facing the people of DuPage County.
