Not according to the commentators on the Tribune site. Scroll down to end of article for NapervilleRead More bashing, lol,... http://www.chicagotribune.com/business/breaking/chi-naperville-makes-list-of-best-spots-for-college-grads-20140421,0,4745153.story

Not quite sure I would consider a "recent college grad" to be between the ages of 25 andRead More 34

Our younger selves would also have to be willing to accept the advice. Often easier said than done.
Pearl Gannon April 16, 2014 at 09:47 am
I believe both of you have very good points. @Sal, who's to say that we, as younger children orRead More people would actually listen to that advice that we were given? We want to be free, do the opposite of what our parents say, etc. And @Bob, I wish more people realized that they can be THAT PERSON for others. We can be that for our children, friends going through rough times, strangers...you name it. The possibilities are endless. I just hope people learn that!

Sal is so right. Younger me would not have listened to me.

Nothing new there Black panther o Poetry the human race has been delving the depth of depravity forRead More eons. There are a lot of good people in our world, but unfortunately evil is hyper active

It says Around Town but the headline is UTAH. Utah is not near Natick!! I think everyone should notRead More open an article on Patch unless they see their town's name in the headline. So If it doesn't say Natick, then we all know it is not LOCAL to the Natick Patch. The less clicks these Patch sites get, the fewer advertisers they will get and then perhaps they will realize if we want sensational news from across the country we'd go back to Patch's former owners AOL and the HuffPost! Those here from other Patch sites - I think you should do the same only click on articles that mention your community's name. No name. No click!

Gerald North Chicago had a higher crime rate than Naperville and has a very small population! GerardRead More I know what happens in Naperville and I'm very safe and comfortable here!
Resurrected April 4, 2014 at 12:24 pm
And North Chicago makes the list and Naperville doesn't! What a joke!Read More http://www.city-data.com/crime/crime-North-Chicago-Illinois.html

Your argument is with the author/company that made the report. They must know more then you do aboutRead More crime in all these towns including Naperville. You may feel safe in Naperville but a lot of people don't armed robberies, home break-in, assaults, murders etc. not withstanding.

Gerard, the bird killing windmills are a myth. The newer units, built since 2000, have very large,Read More very slow turning blades. The bird kills have dropped dramatically with the new design. Believe it or not, the birdies can change course and avoid death. Of course, there will always be some that aren't as smart and get killed, but those are the same ones that fly into traffic and get hit. It is called natural selection.
Gerard Schilling March 23, 2014 at 05:51 pm
Hector everything I read in the last 3 hours on this subject say the killing fields are gettingRead More worse and particularly towards endangered species especially raptors. Currently there are over 15,000 wind turbines rusting in the fields and abandon because their government incentives have run out and they are too expensive for the utilities to run them without these subsidies. Terrible waste of our tax payer monies.
Hector March 24, 2014 at 06:29 pm
3 hours Gerard? You must still have dial up and AOL. Lol. Wow, that is cool you are so into savingRead More birds. You must have really been upset over the thousands of birds killed as a result of the BP oil spill in the Gulf two years ago.

Unfortunately not. As the owner of an active dog who needs long walks daily, I see who shovels andRead More who doesn't. When the walks aren't shoveled, we are forced to walk in the street and dodge cars. Living in the West Highlands neighborhood where the sidewalks are adjacent to the street, it can be difficult to clear them after the plow comes through and puts all of the street snow onto the sidewalks. However, all those able-bodied citizens should be ashamed of themselves when the 70+ year old widow on our street can keeps hers cleared.
Amanda Wittenborn March 13, 2014 at 12:42 pm
nope, the walk to school has been dangerous and slippery this whole winter. It is extra hard with anRead More energetic preschooler who likes to run, and being pregnant its scary to think I could take a bad fall just walking to get my son from school each day. People need to clear their sidewalks!
Bob Fischer March 13, 2014 at 03:23 pm
I would be happy to keep my sidewalk clear - unfortunately it is the recipient of a growing mound ofRead More snow and slush pushed across the parkway by the plows clearing the cul de sac. The plow driver has been equal opportunity, though - each of us at the end of the court have snow mountains all our own
