Customer service is horrible, very sketchy business practices. We did not receive the leather we ordered and they refused to do anything about it, lying and claiming it was a natural variation of the sample provided at the time of sale when it was actually a machine stamped, fake grain leather- a total bait and switch. Proceed with caution if you decide to shop there in spite of all the negative online reviews, and be sure to use your credit card for the entire purchase (they may offer a discount for a cash deposit- don't do it!) so you have some recourse for getting your money back. They have no regard for customer satisfaction and will make no effort to resolve any problems.

I had the pleasure of working with Mrs. "Oliver" when she was redesigning her family room. The furniture she received from SS was exactly as ordered but she had buyers remorse b/c she felt she had picked too dark of a leather upon delivery. I have used SS for other projects and clients are always impressed with their professionalism and ability to deliver a great product at a reasonable price. You can go to any website and find negative reviews(i.e potterybarn/Walter E.), most people reading them quickly realize that the person writing them has too much time on their hands and most likely causes problems anywhere they go.
