Naperville Wine Festival 

Where: CityGate Centre, 2135 City Gate Ln, Naperville 
When: Friday, Aug. 23 from 4 - 10 p.m.; Saturday, Aug. 24 from 2 - 8 p.m.
Wine Tasting Ticket: $29 in advance or $35 at the door. 
Designated Driver Ticket: $10 

This weekend, the Naperville Wine Festival returns for its 11th year to showcase more than 300 wines from around the world. Live music and food is also scheduled during this palate-pleasing event.

Naper Nights

Where: 
Naper Settlement, 523 S. Webster St., Naperville
When: 
Friday, Aug. 23 and Saturday, Aug. 24 from 5 - 10 p.m.
$10 senior/adult (13+), $5 youth (4-12)

Bring your blanket and chairs to enjoy a weekend summer concert series. On Friday, come hear Michael McDermott and The Duke Street Kings (8 p.m.) perform Bruce Springsteen's hits from the '70s and '80s. On Saturday, stop by for the last concert this summer as Trippin' Billies perform Dave Matthews hits.

Author Carol O'Connell Visits Anderson's 

Where: Anderson's Bookshop, 123 W. Jefferson Ave., Naperville
