Adopt Me! Vanna, Dancer, Banks and Nala

Vanna is a 2-year-old female domestic shorthair. She came from Chicago with a litter of kittens. Now that all of her kitties have been adopted, she’s ready to find a home of her own. Vanna can be a little shy at first, but will warm up quickly once she’s in a loving home where she can relax. Vanna is sure to make somebody very happy if they’ll just take a chance on this sweet, gentle kitty.

Dancer is a 1-year-old female shepherd mix. Dancer loves to play and is happiest when she’s around people. She likes most other dogs and might even enjoy a kitty companion (or two)! Dancer has lived with children before but might be a little too rambunctious for very little kids. Dancer would prefer a home where her family is around during the day because she loves company. This sweet girl will make a great addition to a loving family, so please come meet her today!

More dogs and cats are available at the . All the animals have been examined for health and temperament, started on their vaccines and microchipped. They are spayed or neutered at adoption. Hours are 5 to 8 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays, 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Visit at 1620 W. Banks is a gorgeous cream-colored Husky who came to as an owner-surrender because a newborn came into their family. Banks doesn’t understand why he’s at A.D.O.P.T. and he is extremely lonely. If you stop in front of his kennel he will try and talk to you. Banks is 5 years old and weighs 60 lbs. He’s very sweet and well mannered. Banks is great on walks and is enjoying our winter weather.   

Nala has been at A.D.O.P.T. since March and is almost 2 years old. She is a part of Comm 3 which is also called "The Only Cat Suite". The residents of this small room prefer to be adopted out as only cats. Along with Nala in “The Only Cat Suite” right now are Carmella and Adelle. All three have their own personalities and are waiting to find their special forever homes.  Don't pass them up - they have much love to give.
