Adopt Me! Mufasa and Jada

These are just a few of the adoptable pets waiting for homes at area animal shelters.

Mufasa is a 3-year-old male domestic shorthair. He arrived at this past May after he was found wandering all alone as a stray. He loves to play and hang around his people friends. Because Mufasa is FIV positive, he would do best in a calm home with no other cats.  Mufasa may enjoy living with a cat savvy dog and would be fine with school-aged kids. As you can tell from his picture, he can be a bit chatty, so if you need a conversation companion, come meet Mufasa today!

Jada is a 3-year-old terrier mix that was abandoned here at NAHS.  She absolutely loves to play, so an active family would be great for her! She enjoys chasing tennis balls and playing with her friend Zeus here at the shelter. Jada can play a little rough at times so she would do best with dogs who have a similar play style and kids who can understand her rowdiness. This super cute girl is sure to capture your heart, so come meet her soon!

More dogs and cats are available at the Naperville Area Humane Society. All the animals have been examined for health and temperament, started on their vaccines and microchipped. They are spayed or neutered at adoption. Hours are 5 to 8 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays, 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Visit at 1620 W. Diehl Rd. in Naperville or online at www.napervilleareahumanesociety.org.
