Adopt Me!: Mr. Nifty, Wayne, Hoss and Daisy

These are a few of the adoptable pets waiting at area shelters for permanent homes.

Daisy is a happy, friendly and very active girl. She would benefit from attending obedience school and having a family that can commit to getting her plenty of stimulation. She would do best in an active home that will include her in their family activities. She is a little over a year and weighs about 45 pounds.

Hoss is a playful boy but still working out the rules at with all the other kitties. Sometimes when things get a little crazy he finds it easier to just duck out of sight. When the dust settles, though, you'll find he’s a kitty with a whole lot of love to share.

Wayne is a 9-month-old male Labrador retriever mix. He came to after he was given away as a gift to an unsuspecting family. Wayne is a strong, energetic boy who loves to play! His new family should be active, and be willing to give him the training he needs. Although he loves some other dogs (especially the ladies), he shouldn’t live with cats. Kids in his new home should be older because he’s a big guy who can play a little rough. If you’re looking for a big goofy dog to make your family complete, come meet Wayne today!

Mr. Nifty is a 10-year-old, four-paw declawed, male domestic longhair. He was found all alone, wandering the streets of Naperville. After he came to NAHS, he was given lots of love (and a lot of grooming) and is now ready to find a great home of his own. He’s fairly mellow, and would probably be a great fit for just about any home! Because Mr. Nifty is considered a senior his adoption fee is only $50. If a senior citizen wishes to add this bundle of love to their home, his adoption fee would be a $10 donation. Mr. Nifty loves to cuddle, so come and give him some love soon!
