Adopt Me!: Miss BooBoo, Grace, Pagette and Kittens

These are just a few of the adoptable pets waiting for homes at area animal shelters.

Looking for a sweet, cuddly girl? Then look no further! Miss BooBoo is a 1-year-old American pit bull terrier who loves people and giving or getting attention. Kids in her new home should be old enough to understand she can play a little rough and she probably shouldn't live with any cats. Miss BooBoo gets along with most other dogs and may enjoy a buddy to keep her busy. She is an active girl, so her new family should be active as well. This cutie can’t wait to meet you so stop in today!

Kitten season is in full swing here at , so we’ve decided all of our 25 (or more) kittens deserve to be Cat of The Week! Kittens waiting for their forever homes range from 8 weeks old to 5 months old are both female and male. The kittens have all been checked by a vet, tested for FIV and Feline Leukemia, microchipped and will be spayed or neutered before going home. NAHS also offers complimentary lifetime kitty nail trims for all of our cat and kitten adopters. If you’ve been looking for the perfect little furry bundle of joy to add to your family, stop in today. One of these adorable little kitties will be sure to catch your eye, and your heart!

More dogs and cats are available at the Naperville Area Humane Society. All the animals have been examined for health and temperament, started on their vaccines and microchipped. They are spayed or neutered at adoption. Hours are 5 to 8 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays, 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Visit at 1620 W. Diehl Rd. in Naperville or online at www.napervilleareahumanesociety.org.

Grace is a sensitive little lass who likes to take her time getting comfortable before giving herself over to belly rubs and head scratches. But never fear, potential pet parents — this little cutie will eventually stick to you like glue. However, she would like to live without other cats — all the better so she can have your complete and full attention!

Pagette came to as a rescue transfer from a shelter in Kentucky. She is a 2-year-old Shetland sheepdog mix. Pagette is a shy and very gentle girl. She is a calm and rather quiet companion. She would do best in a home with older children. She enjoys the out of doors and loves to be outside in the yard. She is easy companion to walk as well.
