Adopt Me! Mika, Pandora, Mariah Kitty and Boomer

These are just a few of the pets waiting to be adopted at local shelters.

Mika came to from another rescue group. She is an 8-month-old beautiful pit bull mix. Mika is an energetic and bouncy pup. She is a sweet and good-natured girl who just loves to play. Mika likes nothing more than to try and crawl in your lap and cuddle or get as close as she can to get her neck rubbed. Since Mika is still a young dog still learning, she will benefit from obedience school.

Pandora is a sensitive little lass who likes to take her time getting comfortable before giving herself over to belly rubs and head scratches. She is a little nervous in new situations and not too sure about hanging out with all these other cats here at our shelter. All she wants is to settle down in a quiet (single cat) household, with someone who wants some cuddle time.

For more information please contact A.D.O.P.T. Pet Shelter at 630-355-2299.  The shelter is a no-kill, nonprofit, animal shelter at 420 Industrial Drive, Naperville.  Visit us at www.adoptpetshelter.org.

Mariah Kitty has a great singing voice and if you’re nice she just might let you hear it. She’s a sweet and vocal kitty who also likes to play with toys on strings and sit in laps to take a nap. She sometimes gives a little play bite when she gets excited so kids in her new home should be older. She should also be the only pet in the house.

Looking for a big goofy guy to love? Look no further! Boomer is a bundle of fun and he loves to play in the snow. He would do best with older kids since he’s so big! He likes most other dogs but shouldn’t live with cats. He’s friendly, outgoing and just needs a home to call his own!
