Adopt Me!: Lulu, Mika, Oakley and Gabby

These are just some of the adoptable pets waiting for homes at area shelters.

Lulu is a quiet and social kitten that was born with a cleft palate. But that just makes this little girl even more special. She will climb up in your lap, gazing into your eyes looking for attention. She is an affectionate lap cat who loves the company of other kitties and would do well in a more quiet home.

Mika came to from another rescue group. She is a 1-year-old pit bull mix. Mika is a friendly and energetic pup. She is good-natured and loves to play. Mika is extremely sweet. She loves a good cuddle or a chance to lie in your lap! Since Mika is still a young dog, she will need to go to obedience school.

Oakley is a 1-year-old gray male domestic short hair. He is very social and can’t wait to meet a family to call his own. Oakley was found as a stray, but loves getting attention from all the staff and volunteers at NAHS. He doesn’t mind most kids, but would like to rule the roost as the only pet in his new house. He loves to play, so come meet this cute kitty today!

Gabby is a 4-year-old female American Staffordshire terrier. She came to when her family moved and couldn’t take her with.  She’s a friendly girl who enjoys long walks and spending time with people. Gabby prefers a quiet and calm home, so kids in her new home should be older. She may enjoy living with another dog, but doesn’t care for cats. This pretty girl is sure to be the perfect addition to your home, so come meet her soon.
