Adopt Me!: Hoss, Hudson, Chester and Love

These are just a few of the pets available for adoption at area animal shelters.

Hudson is a sweet little guy who came to us from Aurora Animal Control. Who could resist his light amber eyes and big, adorable ears? You have to come in and meet this unique boy. He weighs about 17 pounds and is about 2 years old.

Hoss is a playful boy but still working out the rules with all the other kitties here at the shelter. Sometimes when things get a little crazy he finds it easier to just duck out of sight. When the dust settles, though, you'll find he is a kitty with a whole lot of love to share.

For more information about any of the animals we have available for adoption please contact Pet Shelter at 630-355-2299.  The shelter is a no-kill, nonprofit, animal shelter at 420 Industrial Drive, Naperville. Visit us at www.adoptpetshelter.org.

Looking for a glamorous cat to go with your high style life? Chester may be just the hunk for you! He’s a 3-year-old, front declawed male Himalayan. Like any celebrity, Chester can be a little high maintenance. He’ll need weekly, if not daily, brushing to keep his long hair beautiful and is on a special diet. He can be a little slow to warm up to people, but once he gets to know you, he’ll love attention and has even been known to “talk” to his favorite people. Come to to meet this fabulous kitty today!

Do you need some extra affection in your life? Then come meet Love, a 4-year-old female boxer/hound mix.  Love is an active girl who enjoys a lot of playtime and would be thrilled to live with another dog. Because she is so energetic, she would do best in a home with no cats and kids old enough to handle her rambunctious side. Love can get a little anxious when she’s alone for long periods of time, so a home where her family is around more often than not would be perfect. If you’d like more information on this great dog, call NAHS today!
