Adopt Me! Freckles, Fred, Daisy and Angel

Freckles is a very sweet and handsome dog but he’s a handful!  He’s extremely energetic and will require someone who's able to provide him with lots of physical and mental exercise. Freckles also gets into everything! Ideally, he would do best with a family that's had Border Collie experience before. He likes some other dogs but can't live with cats (he is a herder, after all). Kids in his new home must be at least 12 years old. If he sounds like the right dog for you and you think you can keep up with him, stop by and visit soon!

Fred is a 12-year-old black and white male domestic shorthair.  He lost an eye last December due to an infection, but he doesn't mind.  In fact, he likes to pretend he's a pirate! When's he's not swashbuckling, he likes to hang out in the front office and keep the staff company.  He loves to snuggle and enjoys a nice warm lap to lay in.  He doesn't mind other cats and dogs, and can't wait to find a home to call his own!

More dogs and cats are available at the Naperville Area Humane Society. All the animals have been examined for health and temperament, started on their vaccines and microchipped. They are spayed or neutered at adoption. Hours are 5 to 8 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays, 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Visit at 1620 W. Daisy is an active and sweet young lab who needs a family that understands she is just is just a young girl who needs exercise and the commitment of a family who will involve her in their everyday activities.  She is great with other dogs and simply happy being outside to run around and burn off energy.  She would just play all day long if she had the opportunity.  At this point in her young life, no one has given her any structure so she would benefit from going to obedience school.  She is a fast learner and wants to please.  Daisy loves life and loves everyone; she needs a home where her family will give her lots of love, attention and exercise.

If you are looking for a social butterfly, look no further.  Angel is sweet and playful and yearning for a place to call her own.  She has an outgoing personality and would love to find someone special to share her life with.
