Chloe is a 4-year-old female retriever mix. Chloe loves to play and enjoys human companionship so much she would prefer a home where somebody is around the majority of the time. She loves to play with toys, go for long walks and has even been known to give a “high five” when asked nicely. Chloe likes to play with calm, laid back dogs and may even enjoy living with a dog savvy cat.  Because Chloe can be a little nervous around new situations, she would do best in a home with school age kids. Precious is an 8-year-old domestic shorthair. She came to from a different shelter that no longer had space to keep her. She’s a very sweet and loving girl who is hoping to find a forever home full of love. Because Precious is an older kitty, her adoption fee is only $50. If a senior person is interested in adopting this adorable, affectionate girl, her adoption fee would be only $10. Cats like Precious are few and far in between so come meet this special girl soon!

More dogs and cats are available at the Naperville Area Humane Society. All the animals have been examined for health and temperament, started on their vaccines and micro chipped. They are spayed or neutered at adoption. Hours are 5 to 8 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays, 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Visit at 1620 W.
