The fox Valley marathon is only a few days away and the Chicago marathon is quickly approaching. A few tips to keep in mind go out slow, breath deep, find a comfortable pace. Going out too fast will cause shallow breathing which will cause cramping. Hydrate hydrate hydrate, start really pushing fluids a few days before. Cramping can also be caused by being dehydrated or electrolyte deficiency. Stretch after, your body will appreciate it. An ice bath ( is brutal) or bath in Epsom salt helps a lot.
