The public is invited to the free premiere of the second part of a documentary series produced with Naperville Community Television (NCTV17) that chronicles the college’s 150-year history. “The Growth of a College,” the second of the five-part documentary series “A Promising Start,” will be shown at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, in Madden Theatre. Complimentary refreshments will be served. The documentary series production is led by NCTV’s Emmy award-winning executive director Elizabeth Braham Spencer, who also is adjunct professor of broadcast communication at the college.

North Central College and Anderson’s Bookshops present a series of talks by notable authors this fall. The Sesquicentennial Author Series began with a visit by Tyra Banks and will include an appearance by Caroline Kennedy, who had to reschedule her Sept. 21 visit due to a death in the family.
