Going to Naperville Ribfest 2013? Here's Your Complete Guide

From music lineups to parking, here's what you need to know for this year's Ribfest in Naperville.

This year's Naperville Ribfest kicks off Wednesday, July 3 and runs through July 7 in Naperville's Knoch Park and Patch has your complete guide to the event. 

The 26th annual Exchange Club of Naperville's Ribfest will have plenty of family activities, live music and 13 rib vendors from across the country. All proceeds from Ribfest go to support the elimination of Child Abuse and Domestic Violence. 

Music

Fireworks

On July 4, Ribfest will host its annual fireworks display at 9:30 p.m. The park will open for free at 7:30 p.m. on July 4 for anyone who would like to attend the fireworks display.

Tickets

Tickets for all Ribfest entertainment are available atwww.ribfest.net. Tickets are currently available online for an early bird special of $12 or can be purchased at the gate for $15 when the fest begins.

July 4 through 7 tickets will be available at the gate only from noon to 3 p.m. for Family Fun Time for $10 per person. During that time the carnival will offer at Mega Pass for $10 per person for unlimited rides, carnival ticket sales will end one hour before the end of the offer. Rib vendors will have a special rib dinner offer also during the Family Fun Time.

Children 11 and under are free with a paying adult. Tickets give patrons access to the park, including the carnival area, family area, food vendors and the musical entertainment.

Motorcycle Parking

Designated motorcycle parking is available at Ribfest at Naperville Central parking lot A for $10.

No Parking at Edward Hospital

  • No Ribfest parking will be allowed on the Edward Hospital campus.
  • Alcoholic beverages are prohibited on the hospital campus.
  • Fireworks of any kind are prohibited on the hospital campus.

The Exchange Club is a national group of men and women working as volunteers to make our community a better place through its primary mission, the Prevention of Child Abuse, and through local community service projects. The club organizes fundraising activities such as Ribfest over the Fourth of July and promote Americanism, Community Service, Youth Activities and to Prevent Child Abuse and Domestic Violence.  

Over the past 26 years, $13M has been donate from Ribfest proceeds to over 50 local agencies who are working for the elimination of Child Abuse and Domestic Violence.
