Police Blotter: Stolen Keyless Remote, Drug Arrests

Warrant arrest

Robert Aaron Kirk, 20, of the 1600 block of Sycamore Lane, Aurora, was arrested at 12:01 a.m. in the 1100 block of Book Road and Rickert Drive, said. He was charged on a failure to appear warrant. His bail was $5,000.

Possession

  • Alex Jorge Vazquez, 24, of the 20000 block of Superior Court, Crest Hill, was arrested at 5:35 p.m. at South Washington Street and Olympus Drive, police said. He was charged with possession of cannabis, less than 2.5 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while texting, driving without insurance and on an outstanding warrant. His bail was $2,000.
  • Louis Longmire Lizzadro, 19, of the 1400 Siebert Court, was arrested at 7:36 p.m. at Wehrli Road and 75th Street, police said. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, improper lane use and a traffic control violation. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Delivery

Joseph Guy Scarpelli, 32, of the 1N400 block of Goodrich Avenue, Glen Ellyn, was arrested in the 400 block of West Front Street in Wheaton, police said. He was charged with manifestation/delivery of controlled substances. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. 

Driving under the influence

Indre Kristina Bubelyte, 19, of the 2800 block of Gypsum Circle, was arrested at Prescott Court and West Ogden Avenue, where police said she was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving without insurance and speeding. Her bail was $3,000.

Vehicle burglary

A 34-year-old man in the 1500 block of West Jefferson Avenue reported that someone smashed the driver’s side window and tried to remove a stereo without success, police said. An uninstalled remote starter/keyless entry kit was stolen.
