North Central College football players have been selected as Football Players of the Week by the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin.

Linebacker Joey Michals, senior, and kicker Nick Dace, junior, have been honored as Football Players of the Week on defense and special teams, respectively, for Sept. 10 through 16.

The pair were selected for their roles in the Cardinals' 37-10 victory at the University of Wisconsin-Stout on Saturday, Sept. 15. Michals totaled a team-high 11 tackles, including seven solo stops, and two tackles for loss as the BlueDevils were limited to just 187 total yards of offense. Wisconsin-Stout gained just nine rushing yards, the fifth-lowest total ever by a North Central opponent.
