Meet New District 203 Superintendent This Tuesday

The Board of Education is inviting the community to meet the new district Superintendent Dan Bridges during a special reception Tuesday, Sept. 4. 

The reception will be held at the District Administrative Center, 203 W. Hillside Rd., from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The board will hold its scheduled monthly meeting at 7:30 pm at the Administrative Center, which is a change in starting time.

Bridges agreed to a three-year contract Aug. 20, during a board of education meeting. Prior to that, Bridges served as interim superintendent after former .

Bridges joined District 203 in July 2011 after serving West Aurora School District 129 as principal at the elementary, junior high and high school levels and district athletic director as well as other leadership positions.
