"Naperville Sports Weekly Plus" is a monthly, 30-minute interview show featuring extended interviews of local high school athletes and coaches as seen on "Naperville Sports Weekly." The program airs on Sunday, Dec. 16 at 7 p.m.

In December’s episode, host Alex Symonds will talk with Neuqua Valley High School senior swimmer Gia Dalesandro and Benet Academy Athletic Director Gary Goforth.

Dalesandro was a two-event winner at the 2012 IHSA State Swimming and Diving meet in Evanston, taking first in the 200-yard individual medley and the 100-yard butterfly. Dalesandro was named "Naperville Sports Weekly's" athlete of the fall. She plans to swim competitively at Indiana University in the fall, and sits down with Symonds to talk about her high school career, her participation in the 2012 Olympic trials and her swimming plans after graduation.

Goforth is the Athletic Director at Benet Academy, where the Redwings had a great showing during the fall sports season. Goforth talks football with Symonds, a program that won a share of the ESCC crown and advanced to the semifinals in the 7A state playoffsf. Goforth also speaks to the girls' volleyball team, a group that won their second consecutive 4A championship in November.

"Naperville Sports Weekly Plus" will air for a month on Channel 17 on WOW! and Comcast and on Channel 99 with AT&T. Visit NCTV17.com for airtimes.

All programming can be viewed on Channel 17 in Naperville or on-line at www.NCTV17.com. For more information, visit www.NCTV17.com.

Naperville Tutoring has brought my ACT score so much higher than I had anticipated coming from 2Read More previous ACT prep classes. I feel so much more prepared after 2 weeks with Naperville Tutoring than from former months of ACT PREP practice. The 2 teachers on 1 student structure truly pushed me to work harder than ever and the work is paying off. By exposing me to so many different kinds of problems and giving me new tips and tricks, I know I ready for test day, June 8, 2013.
