SheROX Women's Triathlon

On June 12, thousands of women from across the country will participate in the SheROX Women’s Triathlon Series in Naperville, IL. In partnership with the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF), serving as the Official Charitable Partner, this race provides a supportive environment for women of all ages to show off their athletic abilities and encourage healthy living. And for women participating in the SheROX  Team Hope—a group of women who, in addition to training for a SheROX triathlon, have committed to raising funds to support OCRF—this event is an opportunity to raise awareness and funds for ovarian cancer research and prevention.

Come on out to cheer on the athletes or sign up to participate!

OCRF is the largest private philanthropy in the U.S., dedicated exclusively to funding ovarian cancer research. OCRF’s mission is to find a method of early detection and ultimately a cure for ovarian cancer. Each year, 200,000 women are diagnosed worldwide with ovarian cancer and 125,000 die from this disease. In the U.S., ovarian cancer accounts for more deaths than all other gynecologic cancers combined and is the 5th leading cause of cancer death among women. If detected and treated early, the five-year survival rate increases from 45% to greater than 92%, but there is currently no effective means of early detection.
