Ice Fishing for Beginners — Learn the basics of ice fishing, including safety, equipment, techniques and tips for forest preserve lakes. Fishing will follow if conditions permit. Equipment and bait provided. 1 – 3 p.m. at Herrick Lake Forest Preserve in Wheaton on Butterfield Road one mile west of Naperville Road. All ages; under 18 with an adult. $5 per person.
