This ages-six-and-up event will go over the basics of ice fishing, such as safety, equipment, techniques and tips for forest preserve lakes.
If conditions permit, fishing will follow the presentation. Equipment and bait will be provided.
The event will take place at Herrick Lake Forest Preserve.
