All-City High School Bags Tournament

Teams from all 5 Naperville high schools are invited to compete in the second annual Bags Tournament, hosted by the Naperville Park District Youth Ambassadors on Sunday, November 7 at 12:00 noon at the Barn Recreation Center, located at 421 West Martin Avenue in Naperville.

Bean bag toss games, also known as "bags," have grown in popularity across the country in many age groups, providing friendly competition at picnics, corporate events, and neighborhood gatherings.

For this year's Bags Tournament, teams of 2 from any of the 5 Naperville high schools may pre-register for an entry fee of $5 through November 3 at the Naperville Park District at 320 West Jackson Avenue. Registration also is available at the door for $8 per team.

The Naperville Park District Youth Ambassadors is an advisory group for the Naperville Park District comprised of student leaders who are selected by their teachers to represent their school. Their mission is to spearhead positive, fun activities for teens in the area, such as the Bags Tournament, the Mr. Naperville contest, and the Battle of the Bands.

Students involved in Youth Ambassadors gain additional leadership experience and training through their ongoing participation and through special events, such as the annual Leadership Conference, which will be held this year on Friday, November 19 at the Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center.
