Animals Deserving of Proper Treatment is a non-profit, no-kill animal welfare organization located in Naperville, Illinois. Since it’s founding in 1989, the shelter has placed over 25,000 animals into permanent homes.  A.D.O.P.T.’s mission is to improve the quality of life for animals and to place them in loving and permanent homes through rescue, extraordinary and compassionate care and humane education. In 2009 A.D.O.P.T. became the only low-cost spay and neuter clinic serving rescue groups in the western suburbs and in 2010 expanded their program to offer a low-income spay and neuter clinic to the general public.
