The Naperville Liquor Commision approved a late-night liquor permit for Topgolf, a high-tech golf center that is hoping to build a three-story driving range and restaurant just northwest of Route 59 and Interstate 88, according to the Chicago Tribune.
The Naperville City Council will still have to give its stamp of approval for the business, which is looking to purchase 14 acres of land to build the 65,000-square-foot facility, according to the article.
If approved by the city council, Topgolf would aim to break ground later in 2014 and be up and running by late spring or early summer of 2015, according to the Chicago Tribune.
