Whiz Kid: A Physics Phenom

This week's Whiz Kid is a student at Naperville North High School.

○      Whiz Kid’s name: Eric Spieglan

○      Whiz Kid’s school: Naperville North High School

○      Whiz Kid’s accomplishment: He will compete in the 42nd International Physics Olympiad in Bangkok, Thailand, during the week of July 10-18.

○      Whiz Kid’s Key to Awesomeness (what made him/her successful?): This is the second year in a row that Spieglan will attend the Physics Olympiad. He is one of only 20 U.S. students selected to complete in the Olympiad. More than 86 countries will participate. Last year he earned a silver medal and placed 30th in the world during the competition in Croatia.

 

Thanks to a partnership with , each weekly Whiz Kid will receive a certificate good for one free slice of pizza at the restaurant's or locations.
