The Myth of Fitness and Weightloss
A “Listen and Learn” panel discussion titled “The Myth of Fitness and Weightloss” will be presented at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, at , 1879 Bay Scott Circle, Naperville. The one hour program is free to the public.
The panel of presenters include medical/nutritional experts: Jaclyn Taverna, RN, MSN, FNP-BC, family nurse practitioner; Kathleen Kleckner, MMS, PA-C, certified physician assistant; Cindee Moeller, certified medical assistant and nutritional counselor; and George Laconsole, CSCS, certified personal trainer from Keep Fit personal fitness training in Westmont.
“If you’ve been going to the gym for an hour a day and can't seem to lose any weight,” Kleckner said, “or you’ve exercised for years and can’t lose that tummy, you need to hear this panel.”
The answer to permanent weight loss is not in the gym; it lies in the refrigerator. The public is warmly welcome to learn how nutrition and macronutrients affect physiology and how to redirect efforts to attain a long-lasting healthy weight while spending less time in the gym.
Refreshments will be served, and a free pedometer will be given to the first 10 people who register.
Space is limited, and reservations are required. Call 630-242-1633 or visit http://www.medinaperville.com/.
