"Right in Your Own Backyard: Heroin in Naperville"

This program for parents will detail the extent of heroin's presence in Naperville, describe the signs and symptoms of drug addiction and the physical risks and effects on a person's body, provide tips on seeking help, offer treatment options and explain what parents can do.

Experts in attendance will include David Dial, chief of the Naperville Police Department; Shaun Ferguson and Mike Umbenhower, detectives of the police dept.; Mike Hoffman, social worker; David Lott, MD, medical director, Addiction Services, Linden Oaks; Beth Sack, LCPC, manager, Addiction Services, Linden Oaks; and Stephanie Willis, LCPC, addictions therapist, Linden Oaks and Willis Counseling & Consulting.
