Linden Oaks at Edward opens registration for Camp Success

Linden Oaks at Edward is offering Camp Success Winter Break 2011 for teens ages 12 – 17 to learn skills to cope with bullying, anxiety, low self-esteem and depression.

The camp, which will be led by mental health professionals and licensed therapists, will be held December 26 – 30, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. and take place primarily at Linden Oaks, located on the campus of Edward Hospital, 801 S. Washington St. in Naperville.

Teens will learn how to build relationships, social skills and express emotions during activities such as yoga, Zumba, a mall scavenger hunt, carnival, live music, roller skating, rock climbing, team building and expressive arts.

            Linden Oaks at Edward is a 101-bed behavioral health facility that uses a combination of inpatient, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and traditional outpatient programs to treat adolescents, adults and older adults.  Linden Oaks has programs for anxiety disorders, chemical dependency, depression, eating disorders, geriatric conditions and self-injury, as well as a full range of services for adolescents.
