Humor's role in dealing with life's difficulties to be discussed at St. Thomas the Apostle

An old saw has it that “laughter is the best medicine,” and Deacon Larry Kearney wholeheartedly agrees, so be prepared to take your dose when he administers “Laughing … and Letting Go” from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. Thursday, April 26, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 1500 Brookdale Road, Naperville.

Deacon Kearney, a member of the pastoral staff at St. Thomas, will lead this discussion about humor’s role in dealing with life’s difficulties based on his own experience. His personality, childhood, war experiences, life and ministry provide him with a unique perspective on the topic. And it’s guaranteed that Deacon Kearney will have you smiling even as he shares his experiences of grief and tragedy!
