History Speaks Lecture to Discuss Chicago as Candy Capital of America

HISTORY SPEAKS LECTURE SERIES – SWEET HOME CHICAGO. Chicago has called itself the Candy Capital of America since the turn of the century. During this presentation of the History Speaks Lecture Series to be held from 4 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, February 13, actress and historian Leslie Goddard will explore why Chicago is such a powerful location for candymakers. This presentation is for all ages. Advance tickets are $6 per person and $5 per student and Naperville Heritage Society Sustaining Members; at the door, tickets are $7 per person and $6 per student and Naperville Heritage Society Sustaining Members.
