In conjunction with National Stroke Awareness Month, the Edward Neurosciences Institute is hosting “Are You StrokeAware?” on Monday, May 23, 7 – 8:30 p.m. in the Education Center Auditorium on the campus of , 801 S. Washington St. in Naperville.
Dr. Mohammad Sajed, a neurologist, will discuss stroke risk factors and symptoms. Dr. Ali Shaibani, a neurointerventionalist, will explain lifesaving treatments performed by physicians at the Edward Neurosciences Institute.
The Institute features the most advanced drug therapies and interventional neurosurgery techniques to treat strokes, the third leading cause of death in the U.S., and other neurological disorders.
