Drop-in Service Opportunities for Students Available January 17 at Benedictine University

January 17
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said, "Life's most persistent and urgent question is: 'What are you doing for others?'" Each year, Americans across the country answer that question by coming together on the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday to serve their neighbors and communities.

Benedictine University and Giving DuPage are hosting "A Day On, Not a Day Off" on Monday, January 17 from 11 am to 2 pm at Scholl Hall on Benedictine University's campus. Students are invited to participate in a variety of service projects, including donating to LifeSource blood drive, writing Valentines for Vets and Letters to the Troops, and creating Build a Bears for the Pediatric Cancer Center and placemats for the DuPage Convalescent Center. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
