Democratic Women of DuPage County to Host Panel

The Democratic Women of DuPage County will host the panel discussion "Healthcare - 2011 and Beyond" at the Wheaton Park District Community Building, Rathje Room #214.

 Event presenters will provide information on the improvements the Affordable Care Act has brought and will bring, Illinois insurance programs that may be able to assist some of the uninsured, and low and no-cost healthcare services currently available to those who need them.

Frank Varela-Kisner, assistant director consumer education, Illinois Department of Insurance, will speak at the event.

Kate Barthelme, director of field operations and volunteer support for Planned Parenthood of Illinois will also speak at the event.

 Marie Doll, director of nursing services for the DuPage Community Clinic, is also a confirmed event speaker.

The free program is open to the public. Questions and discussion from the audience will follow the panelists' presentations.
