"Community Service and Social Responsibility"

The Women’s Institute for Global Leadership at Benedictine University will present a professional development session, “Community Service and Social Responsibility,” that will demonstrate the fundamental importance of moral and civic education and examine the various ways that extraordinary things can be accomplished through service learning, volunteering and community outreach. The session will be held from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. or from 6:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10, at the Margaret and Harold Moser Center at 1832 Centre Point Circle in Naperville. The session is part of the professional development series sponsored by the Women’s Institute for Global Leadership at Benedictine University, which was established to provide women around the world access to unparalleled educational opportunities to grow, advance and lead while sustaining and expanding the gains they have already made in the workplace and society. The cost of the session is $50. For more information or to register, contact Sandra Houston at (630) 829-6126 or shouston@ben.edu.
